Been having a lot of heart to heart conversations lately. Most of which inevitably center around my deceased former acting professor who died in his 30s of colon cancer and how now all our lives are fated to be amazing. Is it just being in your 20s that makes you stupidly introspective? Is it graduating from college? Is it being almost a year out of college and still living with my parents and still unable to save money? Is it feeling like a wasted 4 years of my life on an acting degree? Is it knowing that there’s nothing else I’d rather do in the world than theatre and knowing that there’s so little chance of actually being successful at it? Who knows.
